Vernon Bellecourt Speaks at Camp Justice

In the first Picture Panther Founder Bob Brown is Speaking as Ky AIM chairs Robin Bowen and Tom Pearce look on, the late and legendary commnity organizer Anne Braden is in the room as well along with Vernon Bellecourt and California Panther founder Bobby Seale. The meeting took place during an uprising against police brutality in 2002 in Louisville . The meeting was held by the Ky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression. In the 2nd picture Bob Brown and Bobby Seale Shake hands for the first time in over 25 years. Vernon is in the Background
In the third picture Vernon and Bob take a rest after a long day of organizing and giving lectures. Truly a historic day for Louisville.
